White Cedar Ororo combines traditional Shou Sugi Ban with a western rustic flare. The wood is charred, heavily brushed and finished by hand. The brushing process results in an embossed vertical pattern, emphasizing the natural grain patterns.

Application
Although Cedar is extremely resilient and can withstand decades of adverse and varying weather conditions, we only recommend certain products be used for outdoor applications. Solid stained products can easily be maintained and recoated, whereas more detailed finishes require very stringent hand-craftsmanship and may result in a costly upkeep schedule.

Sourced from an FSC certified company. This wood species is not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
